We are excited to announce the release of the next major version of Steel Projects 2026 on May 18th!

This new version is the result of months of development and dedicated work from our R&D and Product teams, and it represents a major step forward for the steel fabrication industry. Considering the team is also actively developing a new, modern, and innovative user experience for Steel Projects, soon to be available, this release is a significant achievement!

Indeed, Steel Projects 2026 introduces a brand-new Scheduling & Sequencing module designed to help fabricators plan production over time according to available resources. This new feature provides a clear overview of upcoming shop floor activities to better anticipate workloads and meet production deadlines. Requested by many of our customers over the years, this functionality is now a reality! Besides, to further enhance the solution, we implemented a new web-based dashboard providing clear visibility into key production data for the current and upcoming days and weeks.

In addition to this major enhancement, the new version also includes many other improvements and features, including:

• Management of assembly types to automatically determine routing (manual or robotic welding) based on predefined parameters, particularly useful for fabricators equipped with welding robots.
• Major improvements to the Stock & Purchasing module, including the ability to instantly reintegrate remnants into stock.
• Integration of machine consumption data into automatic feedback collection to support compliance with future environmental standards and regulations.
• Improved management of standard projects such as transmission towers.
• Continuous enhancements to the PNI format for better integration with external software solutions.
• Compatibility with Tekla Structures 2026, along with a redesigned interface for even better performance.
