SP Production

Features

Virtual workshop

Create a virtual representation workshop composed of all its workstations (CNC machines and manual workstations). Configure all the operations available for each. Access to emulators to visualize production before it actually starts (Optional).

Workflow management

Configure preferred workflows according to profile types, dimensions, and possible other factors. When several machines with the same features are available, change those workflows live depending on the information available such as the current machines loads, potential breakdowns or dierent constraints.

Forecasted production times

Forecasted production times can be calculated according to predefined formulas. Those are available by parts, groups of parts, nesting, or fabrication jobs, and by workstations and more precisely by specific operations.

Scheduling

Allocate the jobs into a GANTT chart in order to help you schedule your production and then anticipate the required resources to produce your projects.

Files exports to the workshop

Once production is prepared, export all the necessary files to the desired workstations: CNC data for machines, work order for manual workstations.

Multi-site (Optional)

It is possible to configure several sites and their associated virtual workshop and workflows and manage them from one. Jobs can also be exported to those external sites.

Production progress tracking at different levels

Configure multiple steps that you want to track throughout the shop floor (CNC machines and manual workstation). Apply one color for each in order to track production with those colors.
Those colors can be seen directly in the 3D model in Steel Projects, or at dierent levels in the available lists: project, plan, assembly, secondary part, fabrication job.

Live monitoring of workstations (Optional)

At each desired workstation (automatic or manual), see the following live information in a dedicated table:

  • Operator logged in
  • Program or work order in progress
  • Potential current messages and alerts
  • Last feedback received
  • Machine or station status (on/o)
  • Preventive maintenance information
  • Remaining workload

Available on Android mobile application: Workshop Monitoring

Advanced analysis at different levels

  • Overall production
  • Raw materials
  • Workstations
  • Operators
  • Projects
  • Nesting (bars and plates)
  • Types of processing
  • Miscellaneous operations
    (maintenance, cleaning, etc.)
  • Alarms and messages
  • Shipments
  • Traceability IDs
  • etc.

Partially available on Android mobile application: Production Analysis

Various ways of visualizing analysis

  • Dashboard and standard widgets (bar charts, tables, pie charts, graphs, etc.)
  • Progress bars
  • Creation of customizable dashboards and widgets
  • GANTT visualizations
  • Edition of standard or customizable (optional) productivity reports

Traceability management

Generate necessary traceability reports (as long as if you implement the right traceability processes → see SP Workshop description).

Live messaging system integrated

Send information back and forth from the office to the shop floor in order to know what is happening live and then be more reactive in decision making.
